I'm working on a pic and I can't seem to get a couple things right...for one, if anybody by chance knows of a good reference pic of a bird (or any winged creature) with their wings extended sorta above their head please let me know ! Right now I'm thinking of resorting to using my cockatiel as a model hehe ....and 2 if anybody has some tips on how to make wings look like they're on fire it'd be helpful as well ^.^

And I think I'm addicted to Gaia x.X so if anybody plays it, add me ! My name's Daewen Yumi and the only friend I've got on there right now is Alan cause we just started playing hehe but it's so cute !!

Yepp, I'm in NY right now visiting fam and all of that fun stuff...Got to go to the city the other day...it was AMAZING. Sooo cool ! didn't see many freaks but i did see a dirty hobo ! and a guy that was too high to figure out how to get out of the subway x.X anyways hehe

I've finished my Merrow piccy !! I just need to think of a name for her and a title for my piccy and wait till I get home to use my fixative and then scan it ! and then submit it and blah blah blah. so yeah expect to see that (somewhat) soon ^.^

So I've just finished the background on my Merrow...now all I have to do is color in her and her little friends and I'll be done ! And it's the first time that I'm gunna be using my new neato markers ^.^ I'm excited ^.^

So I made it through my finals alive *squeee* ^.^ But now I feel all funny because I don't have any homework and I don't know what to do with all of my free time ! x.X

Ah well....

Ooo So I posted a rough draft #2 of my merrow ^.^ so go and look at her ! Lemme know if you see anything that needs fixin' ! I'm trying to decide between watercolors or pastels for the background...I'm more comfortable with watercolors, but I really love how pastels look x.X *torn* anyways...I think I'm gunna color in the actual merrow with my shiny new markers ^.^

Also, I'm super-excited because on Thursday Alan and I are going to NY (>^.^> (<^.^< (he's dancing...get it ? yeahhhhhhh ^.^) we may get to go see Niagra Falls which will be even more exciting! I'll be sure to take a bunch of pictures ^.^

And sorry Faffers, but Colleen is still fun ! She's not scared of any rides ! You can go on the tilt-a-HURL with her haha.

it's FINALS WEEK for me >.< that's why I haven't been on here in a long while...the majority of my time has been spent studying. But now I'm to the point where I think I've retained as much as I'm going to...and I don't feel like studying anymore. I just want to be done with this semester !

I'm excited about this summer because I get to go on an externship and see how things go down in a real clinic ^.^

Also, I'm close-er to being down with my Merrow...I have the basic sketch finished and now I just have to transfer her over to a nice piece of paper and make her colorful ^.^

But I'm gunna get offa here and play some Vanguard ^.^ squeeeeee
